Food Pantry Ministry

You were called to freedom, siblings in Christ; only don’t let this freedom be an opportunity
to indulge your selfish impulses, but serve each other through love.    Galatians 5:13

At the start of the pandemic in 2020, Westminster Presbyterian Church wanted to do something to help our neighbors. Prior to the pandemic, we had been gathering for a meal once or twice a month. As we couldn't gather in person, we shifted models and partnered with Dekalb County Community Gardens (now Rooted For Good) to provide groceries to anyone who needed them.
The Rooted For Good Grow Mobile is at Westminster Presbyterian Church on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month.
Guests are invited to come inside the church to shop for what they need.

Diapers

We quickly learned that there was a great need for diaper in our community. SNAP and WIC benefits do not cover diapers and they get expensive quick. We are grateful that we have been able to provide diapers (newborn - size 7), pull-ups, wipes, and some adult sanitary products. You can give to this ministry by donating below or dropping off products during business hours.

Volunteer Leader

Support our Ministry

If you are interested in supporting the food ministry or diaper program, you can give through our online donation portal and designate the fund as Community Food/Resource Program. We are grateful for any and all support!
