Mission Statement

God, our Creator, calls Westminster Presbyterian Church to share Christ’s transforming love. We strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, learning, service, and fellowship. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, we seek to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God.

Inclusivity Statement

In affirmation of God’s boundless love and grace, Westminster Presbyterian Church believes we are led by the Holy Spirit to be an inclusive and supportive community for all who seek to develop their faith in Jesus Christ. We welcome everyone who professes faith into full participation in the church community, including worship and sacraments, marriage, and ordination as elders, deacons, and ministers. People of all races, ethnic backgrounds, ages, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities, socioeconomic statuses, personal, political, or social philosophies, and any other situations in life are included and supported in our church community.

Matthew 25

We are a Matthew 25 Congregation.
Matthew 25 is an initiative of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) from the 222nd and 223rd General Assemblies that calls all of us to actively engage in the world around us, so our faith comes alive and we wake up to new possibilities. We are committed to focus on Building Congregational Vitality, Eradicating Systemic Poverty, and Dismantling Structural Racism. A task force meets regularly to find new ways to engage in this work.

What We believe

We believe in the Holy Trinity, God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. We are a part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and rooted in the reformed tradition. We believe that we are saved by grace through faith alone. In response to the grace of God given to us, we are called to serve the world. Our faith impacts the way we act in the world as we look for ways to follow Christ’s command to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and embrace those forgotten and disenfranchised.
